Renewable Developer

Ryan is a Project Manager at Private Energy Partners focused on the origination and development of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. He oversees the advancement of renewable energy projects from site identification through to development approval.

He works across early- to mid-stage development of solar and BESS projects, supporting site control, feasibility assessment, development planning and commercial analysis.

• He manages environmental and planning approvals, grid connection studies and consultant inputs, coordinating closely with Engineering, Finance and Legal teams to identify risks early and keep projects progressing toward investment readiness.
• Previously progressed to Project Manager for a renewable developer during his time working in Ireland, contributing to the development of over 1,000MW of utility-scale renewable and storage projects, leading feasibility studies, planning applications, environmental assessments and commercial modelling.
• Brings strong capability in business case development, project scheduling, GIS-led site identification and governance, strengthened by earlier regulatory experience in the finance sector.
• Ryan holds Master of Science in Sustainability and Environmental Studies (University of Strathclyde); Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Queen’s University Belfast); Diploma in GIS (Atlantic Technological University).
