Executive Vice President, Business Development & Investment at Private Energy Partners, Raimund is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic investment and business development opportunities that support the evolving energy infrastructure needs of North America.

  • Raimund brings more than 30 years of experience across infrastructure investment, project development, origination, and mergers and acquisitions. His expertise spans renewable energy, conventional generation, powered land, renewable fuels and water and wastewater with a proven track record of originating, investing in, and scaling energy businesses through multiple market cycles.
  • Prior to joining Private Energy Partners, he served as Managing Director at Quinbrook, where he was a member of the U.S. investment team focused on originating new investment opportunities for the Net Zero Power Fund. Previously, he was a Principal and Fund Manager at Equilibrium Capital, overseeing the firm’s Wastewater Opportunity Fund while serving as a Senior Advisor and member of the Investment and Management Committees.
  • Earlier in his career, Raimund was President and Chief Operating Officer and a founding member of Element Power, Vice President of Business Development at Avangrid (formerly Iberdrola Renewables/PPM Energy), and held development roles with Enron North America focused on conventional gas-fired power generation.
  • He holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, with concentrations in International Finance and Environment and Natural Resource Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Asian Studies from Colgate University.
