Mitch is a senior energy professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure sectors. He currently serves as Senior Director – Head of Development where he plays a key role in advancing project origination, development, and delivery across utility-scale renewables, battery storage, grid support infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing in the Australian energy market.
- In his leadership capacity, Mitch leads the development function and contributes to strategy formulation and execution for complex energy projects, helping to accelerate deployment of low carbon energy solutions.
- Focuses on the development and execution of renewable energy and battery storage projects, collaborating with partners, investors, and project teams to progress initiatives from early-stage planning through to successful delivery.
- Experience across renewable energy, gas fired power generation and broader energy infrastructure projects with ASX listed companies APA Group and Fortescue.
- Experience in mining, processing and heavy industry through over 10 years with Mount Isa Mines, Xstrata and Glencore in Queensland.
- 15+ years in leadership and management roles across renewables, power generation, infrastructure and mining.
- Holds qualifications in Electrical Engineering and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
