• Derek has experience across power generation, renewables, and industrial infrastructure, supporting the development and delivery of capital-intensive assets.
• He has led multidisciplinary teams through due diligence, contracting, interconnection strategy, and risk management processes to bring projects to financial close.
• His background includes working closely with utilities, regulators, engineering partners, and capital providers to deliver scalable infrastructure platforms.
• Derek holds a holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Queensland.
