Anton Rohner

Anton is Chief Executive Officer of Private Energy Partners, Australia and an experienced Renewable Energy executive.
- Anton was the founder and CEO for 7 years with UPC/ACEN Australia. UPC/ACEN Australia is a developer, constructor and operator of large Solar, Wind and BESS around Australia. Having built the business from two employees in Nov 2016, ACEN Australia in late 2024 has over 100 full-time professionals and over 1,000MW’s AC in construction and operations and 6,000MW’s in advanced development.
- Anton is currently also the Founder and Director of UPC Nature and a Director of Yindjibarndi Energy Corporation (YEC), a joint venture between ACEN and the Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation.
- Anton’s experience includes over twenty-five years in managing the development and finance functions within the renewable energy and resources sectors, with five years as CFO for ASX200 listed companies. Anton was one of the original developers of wind in Australia in the early 2000s. Before being a CFO Anton held the position of Managing Director for Renewable Energy and Utilities at Macquarie Bank in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for advising and securing developments in renewable energy and utilities across Asia and Africa.
- Furthermore, Anton was the Managing Director of Asia for Roaring 40s, based in Hong Kong, a partnership formed between China Light & Power and Hydro Tasmania to develop and operate sources of renewable energy throughout Asia and Australia in the 2000s. This partnership developed and financially closed over 2000MW’s of wind in Asia and Australia.
- He holds a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and FCPA, CPA – CPA Australia.
