Chris Chuah
Senior Vice President, Plant Control & Engineering Commissioning
Chris oversees Controls Engineering and Commissioning for battery energy storage system (BESS) investments within Quinbrook’s portfolio.
- Prior to Private Energy Partners, Chris held senior roles at GE Vernova, where he led systems engineering, global commissioning, and field services for over 1.5 GW of solar and 3.5 GWh of energy storage projects.
- Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Plug Power, driving innovation in fuel cell system architecture and product development. Chris holds five patents in energy storage and fuel cell controls.
- Held various engineering and leadership roles in industries including locomotives, wastewater systems, lawn and garden equipment, and Navy nuclear power plants. Also contributed to nonprofit board initiatives focused on improving educational outcomes.
- He holds MS in Mechanical Engineering and BS in Mechanical Engineering
