Tim Mitchell
Head of Contracts and Commercial
Tim leads commercial and contractual activities across Private Energy Partners’ renewable energy construction projects, ensuring they deliver on budget and programme whilst managing risk and maximising returns for investors. He brings over 20 years of experience in cost control, procurement strategy, and contract management across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Tim is responsible for developing commercial strategies and overseeing contract and commercial management across multiple live construction projects. He works closely with project teams to implement robust cost control and risk management processes.
- Tim brings years of experience across energy, infrastructure, and construction projects. His work has spanned on and offshore energy projects, transport infrastructure, in the UK, Australia, Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
- Prior to joining Private Energy Partners, he held commercial and contracts leadership roles at Gore Street Capital and Worley Parsons, where he managed commercial aspects of major infrastructure projects including BESS, rail systems and oil and gas developments.
- Tim holds an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration and a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
