Project Director of the Townsville integrated solar silicon manufacturing project in the Lansdown Eco-Industrial Park. His core expertise includes technical and project leadership across the solar materials supply chain from quartz to polysilicon to finished modules.
- 23 years with Dow Corning Corporation, including long-term postings in the USA, UK and China, delivering major greenfield and brownfield capital expansions in silicon materials manufacturing and large-scale process infrastructure.
- Further experience with 6 years as Executive Director, The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering, University of Sydney, as well as other NED and MD directorship roles and advisory boards
- Ashley holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Georgia Institute of Technology), an MBA (Rutgers University), and a Juris Doctor (University of Sydney Law School).
- He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE) and Engineers Australia (FIEAust), a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), and a European Engineer (EurIng, FEANI). He is also admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
