Private Energy Partners is developing a portfolio of energy infrastructure projects across North America focused on meeting rapidly growing power demand and evolving grid requirements.

Our pipeline spans utility-scale renewable generation, energy storage, and integrated energy solutions designed to deliver flexible, reliable power for both grid-connected systems and large behind-the-meter users.

PEP’s development activity is centred on:

  • Utility-scale solar and wind
  • Standalone energy storage
  • Hybrid renewable and storage projects
  • Microgrids, fuel cells, and powered land solutions

Focusing on locations where we can deliver differentiated solutions, including grid-constrained markets and sites requiring integrated or behind-the-meter energy infrastructure.

WHY NOW

Power markets across North America are undergoing a structural shift.

Electricity demand is rising rapidly, driven by large-load users such as data centres alongside broader electrification trends. At the same time, grid capacity constraints, interconnection delays, and the retirement of conventional baseload generation are limiting the pace at which new supply can be delivered.

These dynamics are increasing the need for flexible, dispatchable, and scalable energy infrastructure. This is required both to support grid reliability and to meet the needs of high-growth energy users.

PEP is focused on developing projects in locations where these challenges are most acute, delivering integrated solutions that can be deployed with greater speed and certainty than traditional grid-only supply.

LOCATIONS

PEP is actively developing projects across key North American power markets.

Our siting approach focuses on locations with strong underlying demand and infrastructure advantages, including access to transmission, proximity to large-load users, and the ability to support both grid-connected and behind-the-meter configurations.

We prioritise high-value, constrained markets where integrated energy solutions can address capacity limitations, support reliability, and meet the evolving needs of utilities and large energy users.

Project Development

PEP is building a focused, development pipeline across select North American markets.
