LOCATION

The proposed Supernode North BESS is located approximately 40 km south of Townsville within the Lansdown Eco-Industrial Precinct.

SITE SPECIFIC INFORMATION

  • The proposed Supernode North BESS would store and dispatch renewable energy from nearby proposed solar farms.

  • The BESS is up to 760MW and would store up to 6000 MWh of energy from the grid.

  • The Lansdown Eco-Industrial Precinct is a heavy industry zoned precinct developed by the Townsville City Council.
